A native of Detroit, Capella earned her B.A. in psychology from the University of Michigan and holds a double master's degree in applied positive psychology and organizational dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania where she is also an assistant instructor. She is a certified professional coach with the International Coaching Federation and is certified to administer and evaluate psychometric assessments and predictive indexes.
