Capella draws on her twenty years of film production expertise and deep commitment to the science of positive psychology to create opportunities and cultures that nurture genuine connectedness and creativity. She ignites the stories within people, organizations, and communities, weaving them together with experience and evidence-based well-being practices to deepen relationships, cultivate growth, and elevate performance. Capella works with film directors, studio executives, and leaders across philanthropy, entertainment, global wealth, healthcare, and Fortune 500 companies, as well as with individuals at pivotal transitions in their lives.
A native of Detroit and a student of the Detroit Public Schools, Capella earned her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Michigan. She holds a double master's degree in Applied Positive Psychology and Organizational Dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania, where she also serves as an assistant instructor. Capella is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Positive Organizational Psychology. She is a member of the Producers Guild of America and the International Coaching Federation (PCC). She is certified to administer and evaluate psychometric assessments and predictive indexes, powerful tools for fostering organizational alignment, high-functioning teams, and individual career paths.
